2009 Infiniti FX35 Review: Features, Specs, Price and Video

2009 Infiniti FX35 has become a very popular car this year, more and more people are interested in it. So we are going to review it here today.

First, let’s learn a little more about Infiniti FX, Wikipedia introduces Infiniti FX like this:

The Infiniti FX is a mid-size luxury Car produced by the Nissan-owned Infiniti luxury vehicle brand since the 2003 model year. The FX replaced the QX4 as Infiniti’s mid-size luxury-type SUV, despite being larger than its predecessor. It was released at the same time as its competitors, the Porsche Cayenne and Volvo XC90. It shares the same FM platform as the rear-wheel drive Nissan 350Z, whereas the similarly sized Nissan Murano is based on the front-wheel drive Nissan Altima platform.

The Infiniti FX is not sold in Japan. In addition, the Infiniti G37 is the other Infiniti car in Japan, since the Infiniti FX isn’t sold there.

In creating the FX, its designers sought what they called a “cool fusion” – the blending of a substantial, SUV lower body with the sleek, elegant upper body more reminiscent of a classic sports car or sports GT. In addition, they sought to combine sports-car performance with SUV functionality. The FX is now in its second generation with the 2009 FX35 and FX50.

Now let’s talk about 2009 Infiniti FX35.

Infiniti has completely redesigned the FX35 for 2009. With a stylish ‘Supernatural Cheetah’ design paradigm, the new FX is a sport utility vehicle with a strong emphasis on ’sport’.

Available in FWD or AWD, the 3.5-liter V6 has had it’s output increased to 303-hp. All that power is sent through a new electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission that features a manual shift mode and downshift rev-matching. The FX35 features luxury such as power heated leather front seats, moonroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The 300-watt, audio system uses 11 speakers and digital audio conversion to provide an excellent listening experience. It’s also a safe vehicle with standard anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability control, and airbags that include curtain airbags for both rows of seats. [Via: AOL Autos]

2009 Infiniti FX35 is very comfortable, this is the most impressive part for me. The FX35 features an excellent dual-zone air conditioning system that keeps the cabin nice and comfortable. The seats don’t support the upper back that well, but that might be morphology-related. The rear is spacious, but the seat backs prove much too heavy when it’s time to fold them down or put them back up.

Features are good and fair for the price point. Some features, including the Around View monitor, are not available elsewhere at any price, at least not for the next 15 minutes or so. And these things are loaded. If it isn’t standard, it’s probably available. Standard features include moonroof, bi-xenon headlamps, power hatch closure, XM radio, while smart cruise control, voice-recognition navigation with real-time traffic, rear-seat entertainment systems, and a host of electronics are also available.

Market Price: $39,670 – $41,031

The price is a little pricey, but I have to say 2009 Infiniti FX35 is absolutely worth that much money.
